Our Story

Labyrinth Brewing Company was founded in 2016 by friends and fellow homebrewers with a passion for beer and the dream of owning their own business. The mission was clear from the start, create an inviting and comfortable space where everyone is welcome while supporting the local Manchester, CT community. And of course, brewing great beer!

After two and a half years of planning and construction we opened our taproom on August 25th 2018 to a packed house and shear madness. It was an amazing experience that marked the beginning of six great years being part of the Manchester community. Throughout those years we met many amazing people and made countless new friends. We achieved our mission of supporting the community through charity events, homebrewing competitions, and countless other events large and small while creating a safe and welcoming space for humans from all walks of life. In turn, the community supported us. Which was never more apparent than during the COVID pandemic and our last two weeks of being open.

In November 2023 we officially opened up our kitchen in partnership with the awesome humans from Ritual Pizza Co. And WOW, those pizza were killer! You can still catch Ritual Pizza Co. slinging pies and other awesomeness at Counter Weight Brewing in Cheshire, CT. We are pumped that they were able to continue despite the challenges of Labyrinth closing.

While closing was sad, the turnout and stories from so many humans those last two weeks gave us solace in knowing that while the journey was ending, we truly did make a positive impact in the community. On July 21st 2025, Labyrinth Brewing Company opened its doors for the last time. It was a party for the ages with laughs, tears, hugs, and good times. All of you made us proud of what we accomplished, and we are forever grateful for all the support we received.

It was all that support the made us realize that this journey is not over. This is just one chapter of that journey, and we can find a way to continue. In April 2025 we officially announced the return of Labyrinth Brewing Company! Through contract brewing at East Rock Brewing Company in New Haven, CT we have brought back some of our core beers to stores, bars, and restaurants throughout CT. The response has been nothing short of enthusiastic, and we are excited to see where this new journey takes us. While we do not have a physical location you never know what the future may bring.

This new beginning is because of our customers, friends, and community support. Without you there would be no Labyrinth Brewing Company.
